Extended Opening Hours for Vaccination Clinic at Trinity Methodist Church
The opening hours at the COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Trinity Methodist Church, Trinity Gardens, 351 Bramhall Lane, SK3 8TP have been extended. The clinic will be open Tuesday – Sunday, 9am-6pm for anyone aged 12+ and eligible.

Stockport Vaccination Offer Extended to Include 5-11 Year Olds
All children aged 5 to 11 are now eligible to get a first Covid-19 vaccination. You can protect your little ones by getting them vaccinated this Easter holiday at the One Stockport Hub, (in the former Argos store) in Merseyway, Stockport town centre, SK1 1RA.

One Stockport Hub Pop-Up Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic Re-opens
Stockport’s popular town centre walk-in pop-up Covid-19 vaccination clinic at the One Stockport Hub, Merseyway, SK1 1RA, re-opens from today, Wednesday, 6 April, until Saturday, 30 April. It’s open today for anyone aged 12 years and over, no appointment is required.

The Big Conversation: your chance to talk about health and care in Greater Manchester
People from every corner of Greater Manchester are invited to start talking about the future of health and care for themselves and their families. The Big Conversation survey launches in Stockport on Monday 4 April 2022 and anyone who lives or works in the 10 Greater Manchester boroughs can take part.

April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month
April is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month, it’s an annual opportunity to raise awareness of the fourth most common cancer in the UK. Every 15 minutes someone is diagnosed with the disease, that’s nearly 43,000 people each year.

Pop-Up Covid-19 Vaccination Clinics Return to Stockport
Pop-up vaccination clinics are returning to Stockport from Monday, 4 April, 2022, with a particular focus on booster vaccines for over 75s and those aged 12 years and over who have a weakened immune system.

Lynch Syndrome – Knowledge is Power
Highlighting a little-known syndrome is Diana Key who works for NHS Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group. Lynch Syndrome (LS) is an under diagnosed syndrome which puts those who have it at a higher risk of getting cancer. Diana wants to raise awareness and urge anyone who has lost a family member to an LS related cancer, or has a family history of LS related cancers, to speak with their GP to understand what this means for them and their family.

Are you going away during the Easter holidays but still need a COVID-19 vaccination? Take the opportunity on Thursday, 24 March, to get your first, second or booster at the Olive Café, 88-90 Castle Street, Edgeley, SK3 9AL. It’s open for vaccinations between 10am-12pm. No appointment is needed, just turn up.
