Partnership Involvement Network

Stockport CCG is working closely with the Council, Trust, Healthwatch and local voluntary and charities to enhance the Partnership Involvement Network (PIN) to help gather local communities insight and opinion on local health and care.

It is made up of representatives from the voluntary and community sector, local communities and patient groups, Healthwatch and aims to include people of varying age, gender, geographical area within Stockport, ethnicity, socio-economic status, mental health conditions, physical health conditions and learning disabilities.

Stockport CCG can engage with the members of the Network in many ways to ensure we can regularly seek the views of a representative sample of local residents on health and care issues and in our planning.

The Partnership Involvement Network complements and expands other patient representative groups, such as patient participation groups (PPGs).

The PIN has begun exploring how it engages with communities, ensures continuous feedback, considers protected groups and the best approaches to ensure peoples voices are heard.
