Have Your Say

NHS Stockport CCG want patient views to be at the heart of everything we do.

Listening to patients, carers and communities and acting on your feedback ensures that our joint decision-making and planning of health services can meet the needs of local people, which is why public and patient involvement is so important.

In our role as GPs, we listen to our patients every day and hear about your experiences of the services in our area. We will use this face-to-face opportunity to the maximum when developing and commissioning services.

As a CCG, we speak with patients and the public on a regular basis – both formally and informally. We use a variety of ways to talk to the communities we serve, making sure that everyone has the opportunity to take part.

This may be through our Citizen Representation Panel, Patient Participation Groups, surveys and questionnaires or face-to-face consultations.

Ways you can be involved

Governing Body Meetings

The CCG’s Governing Body meets in public – which means you can attend to hear what’s happening and ask questions.

Consultations

We would like to know your views on NHS services and health needs in Stockport so that we can continually improve local health services. To enable local people to easily feed in their views, we have an online survey system, Citizen Space.

To give us your views or to read more about all of our current consultations, surveys, and engagement events, click here.

Patient Participation Groups

Have a say in how your local GP practice is run by joining your practice’s Patient Participation Group.

Healthwatch Stockport is an independent organisation, working to help people have their say on local health and social care services.
