1 a. What activities has Stockport CCG undertaken to increase cervical screening attendance over the last 2 years (August 2014 – August 2016)?
NHS Stockport CCG has not undertaken any specific activities to increase cervical screening over the last 2 years. Whilst we do encourage GP Practices to do this work and support with training, it is a Public Health Commissioned Service. You may wish to contact Public Health at Stockport Metropolitan Borough Council at: foi.officer@stockport.gov.uk
The CCG communications team also produced a patient story video about a local lady who talks about how delaying screening could have cost her life. This has been shared with the CCG governing body, GP practices and is available on our website. Click here for the link (Jess Goddard) https://www.stockportccg.nhs.uk/your-health/patient-stories/
