CCG FOI 581 – Hypnotherapy Commissioning

I would very grateful if you could please inform (by email) if the above CCG currently commissions hypnotherapy, either routinely or in the form of individual funding requests.

I would like if possible to know the most recent yearly figure for total expenditure on hypnotherapy by the above CCG.

The EUR service doesn’t hold financial information regarding the expenditure on hypnotherapy. However during 15-16 the EUR service handled 14 requests for NHS Stockport CCG, and 2 of these were agreed. The cost of a course of hypnotherapy for IBS from Professor Whorwell’s team at UHSM is £1136.00.
