Pharmacists
Pharmacists are a great source of health advice and information.
They are experts in medicines and how medicines work:
- they can help you decide if you need to see a doctor
- they can give you advice about how you can treat and look after yourself.
You can find your nearest pharmacy via the NHS website and CCG website service finder: www.stockportccg.nhs.uk/
During the current pandemic, you should not go to a pharmacy if you have symptoms of Covid-19:
- a cough
- a high temperature
- shortness of breath
- loss or change to your sense of smell or taste
- a rash on your fingers or toes
If you have any of these symptoms use the NHS 111 online symptom checker or call 111.
Many pharmacies will have access to a prescription delivery service, but if you are experiencing problems getting your medication the Stockport Volunteers may be able to help.
