Would you like to work within a VERY supportive team environment? We are looking to recruit an Advanced Practitioner to support our clinical team in our well-established and friendly GP practice.

We currently have 5 GP’s ( 3 partners/ salaried GPs), 1 F2, 1 PN, 1 TNA, 1 HCA’s, Med Students, Physiotherapy services, Pharmacists, Well-being Services (mental health signposting service and counselling), Macmillan nurses , Carers clinics. We have an active and supportive Practice Champion group that works with our 6800 patients

We offer private health care, daily coffee and catch up, protected time for inhouse meetings, ½ day closing for bi-monthly clinical meetings to support your CPD.

The successful candidate will provide care over 28 to 37.5 hours per week over 4 or 5 days, with a salary TBC, plus indemnity. We operate a flexible working pattern. The role will involve home visits, urgent care, extended hours and chronic disease management. You will demonstrate safe clinical decision making and expert care working collaboratively with general practice team to meet the needs of patients. As an autonomous practitioner you will undertake a rapid assessment and advice role as well as independently assessing, diagnosing and treating patients in a busy environment delivering timely, quality care. Our excellent secretaries, receptionists, prescription clerk, administrators and apprentice will work hard to support you to deliver excellent medical care.

The successful AP candidates must possess RGN qualification and will have completed, or be close to completing a formal education to degree level and hold an accredited Advanced Practitioner qualification preferably at Master level, a non-medical prescribing qualification is essential.
Romiley, on the edge of the Peak District, has excellent transport links being close to the motorway network and a short drive to Manchester City centre. Also, Romiley is within walking distance of train networks and bus services. It is a thriving community, with good local schools and a friendly local village atmosphere.
