Your questions answered: the vaccine and the virus

Got questions about Covid-19? Perhaps you’re not sure if the vaccine is for you, or if it’s safe for your children?

Stockport libraries, working in partnership with Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, are offering local people the chance to ask their questions to a panel of experts who have been working on the frontline of the borough’s pandemic response.

The panel will include an ICU doctor, researchers from Stepping Hill hospital, and a Public Health nurse working in vaccine delivery. There will also be a council representative from Public Health, available to answer questions on vaccine policy and local government decision-making.

The event is online and taking place at 7pm on Tuesday 15th February, so you can log in from the comfort of your sofa with a brew!

Email your questions ahead of time to healthandwellbeing.libraries@stockport.gov.uk and we’ll try to get through as many as possible on the night. Use the link below to book your place.
