Notice of Appointment – External Audit Services

NHS Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group has appointed KPMG LLP to provide external audit services in accordance with the requirements set out in the Local Audit Accountability Act 2014.  The appointment is for the period from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2020 with an option to extend for 2 years.

The Stockport CCG Audit Panel conducted a mini-competition using the ConsultancyOne (Lot 5.4) Framework for External Audit Services. Following the evaluation of tender documents and supplier interviews the Auditor Panel recommended o the CCG Governing Body the appointment of KPMG LLP.

At its meeting on 30 November 2016, the Governing Body of NHS Stockport CCG considered the recommendation of the Auditor Panel and approved the appointment of KPMG LLP as its external auditors.
