Safeguarding Adults Training Passport
Safeguarding Adults and Children Passport for Level 3 – this document can be completed so you can keep a log of the required learning hours for level 3 safeguarding. Please note it is essential that you keep all evidence of completion as this self-assessment will not be enough to show compliance.
Level 3 Training – Options to Access
Must complete training at Level 1 and 2 to complete level 3 in first instance.
- Each Masterclass (x 4 per year) for GPs and their practice staff will have a dedicated session for safeguarding children/adults training which is mapped at the level 3 competency.
- Links sent out by the Safeguarding Team about local and national safeguarding conferences, multi-agency updates on local and national safeguarding reviews including 7 minute briefings and new NHS GM guidance can be discussed and reflected on with practitioners and their safeguarding lead as part of their level 3 training and put into their training passport.
- Named GPs from across GM will be delivering some Level 3 Safeguarding training aimed at all GP practice teams across GM. Please click here further details and the timetable.

- Mental Capacity Act – In-depth Mental Capacity Training is available via e-lfh. There are 11 e-learning modules that can be accessed via the e-LfH Hub – Mental Capacity Act (MCA). Completion of these modules can contribute to your level 3 Safeguarding Children and Adults intercollegiate training requirements.
- E-LfH level 3 sessions via FutureLearn – https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/level-3-safeguarding-adults . This is e-learning but available for delegates to start on specific dates as they provide a mentoring/support function to complement the e-learning.
