PATHOLOGY IT SERVER PLANNED UPGRADE

Due to the planned upgrade to the pathology server the laboratory will be without computer support on Tuesday 12th February 2019 for the period between 09:00 and 16:00, severely limiting the laboratory’s ability to process samples.

 

  • Test requests received during this time will be stored in appropriate conditions to maintain sample stability and tested when the system is returned to full functionality.
  • Once the upgrade is completed we will endeavour to expedite the processing of all samples received.
  • Results for testing previously completed and reported by the laboratory will be available via TQuest as usual during this time.
  • The laboratory will have no ability to access results during the downtime.
  • Request ordering via TQuest will function as normal.
