Effective Use of Resources – update.

Following a period of clinical engagement NHS Stockport CCG has adopted a new GM Effective Use of Resources policy and two revised policies, covering:

• Arthroscopic sub-acromial decompression for shoulder impingement (New)
• Low Back Pain (Revised v2.0)
• Facet Joint Injections (Revised v3.0)

For information there has also been some minor changes to the commissioning criteria of the following GM EUR Treatment Policies:

• GM Trigger Finger policy
• GM Ganglion policy
• GM Tonsillectomy policy
• GM Common Benign Eyelid Lesions policy
• GM Aesthetic Breast policy
• GM Common Benign Skin Lesions policy

These policies have been be uploaded onto your GP Clinical System and can be found on the CCG’s EUR page Effective Use of Resources.
