Course Overview

This course explains how staff can recognise when colleagues may be experiencing mental health problems, and how they can support their colleagues effectively. It provides learners with a baseline level of knowledge, which they can build upon through time and experience.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Learn how to identify the signs of mental health issues
  • Understand how to provide support to colleagues and/or team members
  • Learn how to recognise red flags and the actions required
  • Gain an insight into stigma associated with mental health
  • Acquire a broad understanding of the support services that are available
