Stockport CCG – Covid Recovery in the Community – Training Event – Wednesday 15 July 2020.

Please find the link to the recording of this training event which is suitable for all staff working in primary, community and secondary care; clinical staff from General Practice will find it of particular benefit.

The session aimed to inform delegates about COVID recovery in the community. It included:

  • Experiences so far from patients admitted to hospital
  • Proposed Covid recovery pathway for hospital discharges
  • Medium and longer term effects of Covid infection and how to manage these. Including advice, guidance and resources around breathlessness, fatigue, reduced strength, loss of smell and taste, impact on mental health, weight loss
  • Reducing risk in diabetic patients
  • Launch of EMIS template to facilitate Covid review
