Medical Examiner Service and General Practice

Target Audience/Eligibility Criteria

This hour-long session is suitable for all General Practice Staff.

Course Aim

The session aims to explain why the system has been implemented, how it will work, and how you can use it to best effect in general practice. It will highlight the lessons learnt and provide some statistics about its use so far including how some of the submissions could have been redirected or improved. There will also be the opportunity to ask any questions.

Trainer/Facilitator

This hour-long session will be introduced by Dr Simon Woodworth and then facilitated by Dr James Catania, Lead Examiner for East Cheshire, High Peak and Stockport.

This session will be carried out via a video conferencing platform called MS Teams, delegates will need a computer or smart phone to join, where possible they are encouraged to use a web camera to fully participate. All joining details and coaching will be available before the session

Cost

This training is free of charge for all those working in Stockport General Practices.
