Practice Managers or those in the Practice with the responsibility for managing the Practice finances (including any GP Partners).
Course Aim
This short interactive session aims to provide delegates with a General Practice finance update which will focus on the contract changes for 2025/26. Delegates will leave the session with a clear understanding of the changes and what they need to do in practice as a result.

Emily Tyler is the Commercial Development Manager at Lloyd & Whyte who specialises in providing insurance solutions tailored to healthcare individuals and practices. Emily has over 10 years of extensive experience in the insurance sector as well as the Primary Care sector, this allows her to navigate the unique challenges faced by practices to ensure comprehensive cover is provided, in case the unexpected happens.
Ricky Smith is the specialist Insurance Consultant at Lloyd & Whyte, who specialises in providing insurance solutions tailored to health care individuals and practices, Ricky has over 7 years of extensive experience in the insurance sector, allowing him to provide advice across a wide range of policies to cover the exposures a practice will face. Whether it’s your general run of the mill Liability cover or a more complex Buildings policy under-going work and requiring Contract Works cover, he’ll find the right policy for you.
Christine Sharkey is the BMA Employer Advisory Service Manager. She has extensive experience in HR and employment law, the last 15 years of which has been supporting GP practices. She is also an accredited interpersonal mediator and provides this service to GP partnership and other staff.
