Target Audience/Eligibility Criteria

The whole primary care workforce.

Course Aim 

This course aims to help you gain a better understand suicidal distress and to explore what support could be offered at point of contact

Learning Outcomes 

Upon successful completion of this course delegates will:

  • Gain knowledge of the National and local suicidal facts and figures
  • Gain insight into the process and experience of suicidal distress
  • Gain knowledge about what is on offer for those in suicidal distress –local services and resources.

This session can also be booked to run in a Stockport General Practice setting if you have a minimum of 8 delegates. The duration of the session can be negotiated.  To book a session please contact elysabeth.williams@stockport.gov.uk .

Cost

This session is free of charge for all delegates from Stockport General Practice.  For all other delegates the cost is £10 per person.
