Target Audience/Eligibility Criteria
General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Assistant Practitioners and Health Care Assistants who will perform and/or report Spirometry as part of their role in Primary Care.
Course Overview:
The training programme is split such that delegates may choose to attend the full two day course covering the performance and interpretation of adult and paediatric spirometry, or just the first day for those who simply want to perform spirometry, but do not need to interpret the results. Alternatively, delegates may wish to attend the second day to brush up on their spirometry skills and learn more about adult and paediatric interpretation. All three training programmes will prepare candidates for one of the ARTP spirometry certificates. Successful completion of the ARTP certificate will allow registration on the National Spirometry Register.
