Target Audience/Eligibility Criteria
SCRIPT is an eLearning programme to improve safety and competency among healthcare professionals around prescribing, therapeutics and medicines management. There are sections specific to a range of professional groups who are involved in prescribing.
Course Aim
These modules aim to provide staff with the knowledge, confidence and competencies to undertake safe and effective prescribing, therapeutics and medicines management. Please note this does not replace undertaking the certified NMP qualifications.
Course Content
There are specific modules for the following groups:
- Medicine and surgery – for undergraduates, foundation trainees, doctors and NMPs in hospitals
- Paediatric – for specialist trainees, doctors and NMPs working in a paediatric setting
- Nursing – for undergraduate and qualified nurses
- Primary Care – for GP trainees, qualified GPs and other prescribing staff working in a primary care setting
