How to Book/Additional Information

  • This module can be accessed via elfh – Safeguarding Children Level 2. The name of the course is ‘Safeguarding Children – Level 2’
  • Enquiries can be made via gmicb-sto.learningdevelopment@nhs.net or 07393 798115.
  • Over a three-year period staff who require level 2 training should undertake refresher training equivalent to a minimum of  3 – 4 hours. The refresher requirement can be completed by undertaking the e-learning as a refresher plus by receiving training from the Practice GP Safeguarding Lead, reading and reflecting on newsletters etc.
  • Safeguarding Children Training Passport –  To help managers demonstrate compliance the ‘Safeguarding Children Level 2 Training Passport’ has been added to the LMS as a course.  This is accessed via ‘requested learning’.  You can access the passport, complete it and save it separately.  Completion of the course assessment to confirm you have met the Passport requirements will then show that compliance has been achieved on your training record.  Please note this is a tool to show compliance on the training system only.  It is essential that you keep all evidence of completion as this self-assessment will not be enough to demonstrate compliance.
