Immunisation & Vaccination – Stockport Vaccinology Workshop – Virtual

Target Audience/Eligibility Criteria:

For any nursing, medical or related professional healthworker involved with immunisation.

Course Aim:

This virtual course together with the pre course reading,  should enable an attendee to acquire sufficient knowledge around all vaccine preventable illnesses in the UK to practice safely. In addition it will strengthen competencies around managing adverse events including anaphylaxis.

Pre-requisites:

This annual Study Days are available for delegates who have attended Dr Baxter’s three day workshop within the last 5 years.is primarily directed at individuals with a medical or nursing qualification. Other individuals for example pharmacists, may attend but prior discussion with the course organiser is advised.

The practice need to ensure they have a registered, up to date Health Care Professional who can support the delegate work through the practical competency toolkit following the virtual training. All dates must be attended. The mentor would need to be available to attend the final session of the week long training.
