End of Life Care

Training Outline

Practice based training is offered by the palliative care team in Stockport on each of the topics below:

  1. Advance Care Planning
  2. Opioids – including morphine, oxycodone and fentanyl
  3. DNACPR guidance for doctors – where does it fit with everything else? What are our legal obligations?
  4. Recognition of decline – and what we should do about it
  5. Best interest decision making at the end of life- what is it and how do I do it?

Course Duration

All sessions are a maximum of 1 hour.

This course is free of charge to all those from Stockport General Practices.
