Health Care Support Worker Digital Foundation Programme with 1:1 Nurse Support – Stockport Pilot

Course Outline

Free accredited clinical training combined with dedicated and experienced clinical support. For all staff working in General Practice or Primary Care Network.

Course Content

The course will cover:

• Care Certificate
• Cardiovascular Disease
• Immunisation and Vaccination
• Phlebotomy

Course Duration

The course duration will vary as it can be completed as quickly or slowly as required, but can be completed in around 6 months if the HCA spends an hour per week on the programme. HCAs can also join an optional peer support group to help them further embed their knowledge.

Cost

All of this package is fully funded, so at no cost to the practice.
