End of Life Palliative Care for Babies, Children and Young People – Advanced Care Planning (e-learning)

Course Overview

Free to access to e-learning developed by Derian House Children’s Hospice and housed by Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB. Greater Manchester commissioned access, which is being granted on a limited number of registrations per month.

Course Content

The modules include:

• Advanced Care Planning (15 minutes)
• When a Child has Died (20 minutes)
• Grief and Bereavement (30 minutes)
• When a Child is Dying (30 minutes)
• Compassionate Communications (35 minutes)
• Symptom Management Planning (20 minutes)

Course Duration

The modules approximately take between 15 – 35 minutes to complete.
