General Practice Nurses (GPNs) in Greater Manchester looking to develop leadership skills.

Course Details

What is the CARE programme?  Designed to develop leaders amongst GPNs, build on leadership skills, personal resilience, self-awareness, health & wellbeing and empowerment to enhance leadership capability to support join-up, multi-professional working.

What will the CARE programme give me?

  • The opportunity to make a difference to the patients within your practice, help you think through your ideas for improvements and become influential in developing your PCN.
  • Be part of a practical programme that seeks to empower you to drive innovation, strengthen relationships and develop a bottom-up, population health approach to care.
  • Be supported to build self-awareness and resilience, which in turn will help to unlock new and exciting innovation and improved system leadership.

Programme Delivery (Starts January 2021)

You will receive holistic learning through expert-led webinars 8 x 2.5 hour group sessions, quality improvement project support, connectivity and a dedicated community of practice (locally, regionally & nationally).

Have access to a mobile app developed by ShinyMinds with the NHS, which will enable you to look after your jealth and wellbeing, strengthen resilience, connect with others and become part of an active community of support.
