Child Health Surveillance

Course Aim

This two day interactive course is designed to provide an overview of developmental and other common health problems in children.  The content supports the requirements of the Royal College of General Practitioners curriculum in paediatrics and is seen as being an essential part of training in Paediatrics, Child Health and General Practice.

Delegates must attend the 2 full days to obtain a certificate of attendance

Following on from the theory course, practical sessions must be undertaken to cover the full spectrum of the course content.  These practical sessions should be undertaken during your general practice placement.

The Royal College of General Practitioners provides documentation for completion for the practical sessions, i.e. 6-8 Week Assessment, 3 Year Assessment, Immunisation Clinic, Practice Management

Cost

The course fee is £200 – Please note this training is not funded by the Stockport Integrated Partnership.  Any associated costs for this training are the responsibility of the practice.
