Pharmacy Health Campaigns

Pharmacies are required to participate in at least 6 National health campaigns each year -this year the focus is on cancer prevention and recognition of signs and symptoms. Practices may want to work with local pharmacies to co-ordinate campaigns.

These have been agreed as follows:

Cervical Cancer Awareness – March 2019

Bowel Cancer Awareness – April 2019

Oral Health Awareness – May-June 2019

Breast Cancer Awareness – July- August 2019

Stoptober (smoking cessation) – October 2019

Movember (men’s health) – November 2019
