Getting the Right Care at the Right Time – Active Signposting

The new active signposting initiative is due to launch in Stockport General Practices over the next few months. This initiative will enable receptionists to offer more choice to their patients, offering alternatives to a GP appointment if a suitable alternative may better meet their needs.

All practices have been issued with e-learning modules for their Practice Manager and Receptionists to complete and all receptionists are encouraged to attend two half day workshops taking place from November to January.
