Eligibility: The current UK Health Security Agency guidance highlights the recommendation that only experienced HCSWs who have achieved education and training to Level Three of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) or equivalent in England and Wales should be considered for training in vaccine administration – National Minimum Standards and Core Curriculum for Vaccination Training. We can accept some flexibility with the eligibility criteria for vaccination training and will accept applications from those already working in a Health Care Assistant role who have completed the Care Certificate. There will be no requirement around minimum length of time in role. Practices should only put forward individuals who are working as Health Care Assistants and have already completed the Care Certificate.
