In the latest NHS England Assessments, Stockport CCG has been rated as \u201coutstanding\u201d and \u201cgood\u201d in dementia and mental health care.<\/p>\n

It is a substantial improvement in the CCG\u2019s mental health care – scoring a rating of \u201cgood\u201d following excellent progress made in priority areas.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s testament to the huge strides that have been made in key areas like recovery rates for people accessing psychological therapies and early intervention in psychosis.<\/p>\n

Nationally the target for the number of people with psychosis starting treatment within two weeks is just 50% but in Stockport the rate is 69%.<\/p>\n

The recovery rate for those accessing psychological therapies is also 5% above the national ambition set by NHS England.<\/p>\n

Since 2017 the CCG has invested over \u00a34.5 million in mental health services, which has contributed to the improved ratings.<\/p>\n
