The Greater Manchester Health and Care Champion Awards are back for the second year to recognise those who regularly go above and beyond to improve the health and wellbeing of the people of GM.<\/p>\n
The awards are a fantastic opportunity to say thank you to the unsung heroes who are really making a difference in our communities.<\/p>\n
There are ten awards recognising the different contributions people make, from colleagues working together across different organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of their residents, to students and apprentices, rising stars and innovators.<\/p>\n
Nominations open on Monday 28th<\/sup> January 2019 and close on Friday 15th<\/sup> March 2019<\/strong>.<\/p>\n The awards are open to all individuals or teams, paid or unpaid, who work in the health or care sector in Greater Manchester or through their broader work help improve the health and wellbeing of others.<\/p>\n Nominations can be completed by colleagues or members of the public who wish to see an individual or team\u2019s hard work recognised.<\/p>\n Find more information about the awards and how to nominate at \u00a0www.gmchampionawards.co.uk<\/a>. Completed nomination forms should be returned to gm.awards@nhs.net<\/a>.<\/p>\n A shortlist of nominees will be announced in April and invited to attend an event on Thursday 4th<\/sup> July 2019, where the winners will be announced.<\/p>\n The awards are organised by Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership, with support from the Mayor of Greater Manchester, Andy Burnham.
