{"id":8584,"date":"2018-12-12T15:08:18","date_gmt":"2018-12-12T15:08:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stockportccg.nhs.uk\/practicehub\/?p=8584"},"modified":"2018-12-12T15:09:03","modified_gmt":"2018-12-12T15:09:03","slug":"breast-screening","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stockportpracticehub.co.uk\/practicehub\/practice-news\/breast-screening\/","title":{"rendered":"Breast Screening"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Stockport has now moved from 5\/10 CCGs for breast screening uptake to 7\/10 \u2013 10 being the lowest.\u00a0 This is very concerning and a programme of work to address this issue is underway.\u00a0 For bowel and cervical screening Stockport ranks first and second respectively, highlighting breast screening as a clear outlier.<\/p>\n<p>How primary care can support to improve uptake:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An EMIS pop-up is available to highlight non-attenders.\u00a0 The value of a clinician encouraging attendance is well documented.
