As a result we need to evidence that our antibiotic usage is appropriate.<\/p>\n<p>We ask if you could spend a small amount of time rating your antibiotic prescribing using a simple scale. We recognise that low antibiotic use alone is a poor measure of quality and would like to be able to demonstrate a regular sample indicting quality.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019d expect some prescribing to not follow the guidelines, but we would expect these instances to be limited.<\/p>\n<p>The report will be run in practice by the Practice Based Medicines Coordinator or Medicines Coordinator and the export will then be run through an excel spreadsheet to get a randomised sample (5% of total antibiotic scripts per month).
