Every few years Stockport’s Health and Wellbeing Board undertakes an in-depth review of health and social care needs in Stockport to inform our strategies and service plans; this is called the Stockport JSNA (Joint Strategic Needs Assessment).<\/p>\n
We want to consult local commissioners, staff\u00a0and members of the public to ensure that our latest assessment includes evidence from all the local experts and truly reflects the needs of our local population.<\/p>\n
Over the next few weeks we will be sharing a number of draft briefings for your comments, so that we can ensure that the final JSNA is as complete and as accurate as possible.<\/p>\n
The first of these briefings are now available, and will be available for comment until 11\u00a0February 2020:<\/p>\n
Briefings will follow on topics including health and social care service use, lifestyles, mental health and wellbeing, public opinions, learning disability, frailty & falls and early years. In addition health profiles of wards, Primary Care Networks and Neighbourhoods will be published.<\/p>\n
Existing briefings are already available for SEND<\/a>, Dementia<\/a> and Autism<\/a>.<\/p>\n Once the briefings are finalised an overall summary of the 2020 JSNA will be brought together setting out the key priorities for health and care in Stockport for the next few years, this will be presented at the April Stockport Health and Wellbeing Board.<\/p>\n Once agreed the final versions of the summary document and topic briefings will be published at http:\/\/www.stockportjsna.org.uk\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n
