General Practice Learning Development Portfolio<\/strong><\/p>\n

NHS Stockport CCG attaches great importance to the provision of, and access to, Continuing Professional Development, Education and Learning for ALL staff working in General Practice. We recognise that in order to provide the best possible quality service to patients, staff have to be equipped with current best practice, knowledge, techniques and skills.<\/p>\n

The CCG is committed to developing the skills and potential of staff in order to meet their professional needs and help them to contribute to the CCG and their practices objectives of delivering a high quality service. Masterclasses<\/span><\/i><\/a><\/h4><\/div>

Stockport ICB arranges Masterclasses to run 4 times per year. Unfortunately, Mastercall cover will not be funded for the Masterclasses.<\/u> Practices who book cover will be responsible for the cost. If practices do want to book please use the form on the Practice Hub<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. <\/a><\/strong>Please note this booking must be made more than 5 days prior to the event to avoid a late booking surcharge. From 1pm \u2013 6.30pm Practices must ensure all messaging redirects patients to Mastercall and not NHS 111. Practices must also ensure they revert to their usual out of hour\u2019s procedure from 6.30pm with a message directing all patients to call NHS 111. Additional information is on the Practice Hub. These educational events are designed to ensure that the training and development needs of the whole general practice team are considered.\u00a0 Workshops will be offered at each Masterclass to meet the needs of the whole general practice work.<\/p>\n
