The Clinical Policy committee (CPC) has reviewed the NICE clinical guidance published in January;http:\/\/guidance.nice.org.uk\/CG137<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Key points for GPs are:<\/p>\n

  1. Ensure you are familiar with best practice in emergency assessment and treatment.<\/li>\n
  2. Ensure you are familiar with the latest treatment guidance, for example, branded versus generic and modified release preparations.<\/li>\n
