In June 2019 we were commissioned by Tameside Population Health Programme Manager Charlotte Lee to produce a very special film. Ellie is a young woman, living in Tameside who had gone through a series of hardships in her life and subsequently received the invaluable support of the Tameside Family Nurse Partnership. In May 2019, she shared her story with the Partnership Board, and as a Public Health commission, they agreed to support Ellie in sharing her story even further. Having decided that animation would be the most powerful way to portray Ellie\u2019s story, we worked together with Charlotte and Ellie to find the best approach and design style, to capture what were often moving as well as inspirational moments. The film takes us from Ellie’s difficult early life and the challenges she faced then, through to present day, showing that, assisted by the Family Nurse Partnership, Ellie has shown great strength and managed to turn her life around.
