Extra Note from Alex:<\/strong> I have just been to a seminar with the publishers of the new BTS clinical statement on cough being published this month. There are slight changes compared to what was in the presentation (which was accurate based on 2022 guidelines!)The main change is the recommended dose of presnisilone is 20mg for 2 weeks if trialling a response in eosinophilic lung disease\/asthma. My presentation had the old dose of 30mg. If the patient gets a good response then treatment could be maintained with budesonide 200mcg BD equivalent e.g. clenil<\/p>\n\n\n\n
