It can be completed by anybody who has an interest in developing their knowledge and understanding of special educational needs and disabilities &#8211; SEND.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Aim<\/strong><br \/>The training will provide existing SEND professionals and those who are new to SEND with the required high level of knowledge and insight into SEND, thus creating a well-informed, joint support network for Children and Young People (CYP) with SEND.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Content<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This course will cover:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Introduction &#8211; what are special educational needs<\/li>\n<li>Relevant legislation<\/li>\n<li>SEN Support<\/li>\n<li>EHC Plans<\/li>\n<li>Mediation and Disagreement Resolution<\/li>\n<li>Preparing for Adulthood<\/li>\n<li>Health &amp; Social Care<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Duration<\/strong><br \/>This course should take approximately one hour to complete.
