This e-learning module addresses the high risk areas for the early identification and management of sepsis. The introductory overview first session is aimed at all clinical staff that work in primary care. The remaining sessions on diagnosing sepsis in adults, children, elderly and complex issues such as maternity and neutropenia are primarily aimed at General Practitioners.<\/p>\n<p>The e-learning module, consists of the following five sessions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Session 1 \u2013 Overview of Sepsis<\/li>\n<li>Session 2 \u2013 Adult Sepsis<\/li>\n<li>Session 3 \u2013 Childhood Sepsis<\/li>\n<li>Session 4 \u2013 Complex Sepsis Issues and Future Development<\/li>\n<li>Session 5 \u2013 Sepsis, Care Homes and the Frail Elderly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The sessions reflect the latest NICE Guidelines \u2018Sepsis: recognition, diagnosis and early management\u2019 published July 2016.
