Training Outline<\/strong><\/p>\n

Practice based training is offered by the palliative care team in Stockport on each of the topics below:<\/p>\n

  1. Advance Care Planning and EPaCCS – General<\/li>\n
  2. Opioids – including morphine, oxycodone and fentanyl<\/li>\n
  3. DNACPR guidance for doctors \u2013 where does it fit with everything else? What are our legal obligations?<\/li>\n
  4. Recognition of decline – and what we should do about it<\/li>\n
  5. Best interest decision making at the end of life- Applying for MCA to practice<\/li>\n
  6. Supporting your care homes – Advanced Care Planning<\/li>\n
  7. Electronic (Digital) Authorisation of Anticipatory Medications for the Last Days of Life, including Gosport recommendations<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
