Target Audience\/Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following online course’s are suitable for GPs and Practice Nurses who undertake cervical cytology sampling and have previously attended a recognised cervical cytology sample takers theoretical and practical course, as 3 yearly update training.<\/p>\n

elearning for healthcare<\/strong><\/p>\n

The NHS Cervical Screening Programme (NHSCSP) is pleased to announce the release of an e- learning resource which is free of charge for cervical sample takers 3 yearly update training. The module is hosted on the Health Education England\u2019s website e-learning for Healthcare (e-LfH) via this link<\/a><\/strong><\/span>. The resource is part of a suite of e-learning materials for staff working across all NHS screening programmes. – https:\/\/e-lfh.org.uk\/programmes\/nhs-screening-programmes\/<\/a><\/strong><\/span> .\u00a0 The resource is designed to meet the cervical sample taker 3 yearly update training requirements as set out in the NHSCSP Guidance<\/a><\/strong><\/span> for the training of cervical sample takers. It is anticipated that the module will facilitate improved and flexible access to update training to meet the needs of the sample taker population.<\/p>\n

Royal College General Practitioners (RCGP)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This update is for primary care and other professionals caring for women undergoing cervical screening. It will serve as a useful introduction and refresher on the topic, to build on the locally-based practical training and assessment advised for all NHS cervical screening sample takers. This course is Free to members, non-members will first need to register for a free basic account which can be created here <\/a><\/strong><\/span>and by scrolling down to the ‘Basic website registration for non-members’.\u00a0 Once you have created your account, please return to Online Learning Environment – RCGP Learning<\/a><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0and use the same login details to access. If the course is not freely available, you will be prompted to purchase access to that resource.<\/p>\n
