In a GP Practice this may include: GP Practice Managers, Clinical Reception Managers.\u00a0 Those that need Level 3 do not need to complete Level 1 and 2 first.\u00a0 Level 3 (see next page) is for all clinical staff working with children and young people and\/or their parents\/carers and clinical staff who contribute to assessing, planning, intervening and evaluating the needs of adults.\u00a0 In General Practice, this includes all GP\u2019s, ANPs, PNs and Counsellors.<strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Office for Security and Counter Terrorism (OSCT) in the Home Office is responsible for providing strategic direction and governance on CONTEST. Prevent is one of the four key principles of the CONTEST strategy, which aims to stop people becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism. The Health Sector contribution to Prevent focuses primarily on Objectives 2 and 3 only.
