Initially and every 3 years non-clinical staff should undertake a 90-minute face to face training session (further details below).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Course Aim<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This courses provides valuable information about what to do if you come across someone in need of CPR, whether at work or in your day-to-day life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learning Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon successful completion of the course delegates will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be able to recognise cardiorespiratory arrest.<\/li>\n<li>Know how to summon emergency help.<\/li>\n<li>Be able to start cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) using chest compressions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Duration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is variable as it is e-learning.\u00a0 Approximately 1-2 hours<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trainer\/Facilitator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>E-Learning for Health<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date\/Time\/Venue<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is e-learning so can be accessed at any time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cost<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This course is free of charge for all those working in Stockport General Practices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Booking Process\/Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non clinical staff should have face to face BLS training initially and every 3 years.\u00a0 This module is suitable for\u00a0 year 2 and year 3 of the cycle only.<\/li>\n<li>This course is called Resuscitation &#8211; Level 1<\/li>\n<li>This training can be accessed via elfh &#8211; <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.e-lfh.org.uk\/Component\/Details\/544157\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Resuscitation &#8211; Level 1<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.
