It also discusses relevant aspects of the antimicrobial prescribing and stewardship competences. As part of our CCG commitment to increasing awareness of overuse of antibiotics we would like all staff to increase their knowledge on how we can all reduce the risk of antimicrobial resistance developing and spreading by completing this 30 minute on line course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learning Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Upon successful completion of this module delegates will be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Discuss why there is such a concern about misuse of antibiotics and antimicrobial resistance<\/li>\n<li>List the key risks for development of antimicrobial resistance<\/li>\n<li>Identify their role in tackling antimicrobial resistance<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Course Duration<\/strong> \u2013 Approximately 30 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Trainer\/Facilitator<\/strong> \u2013 E-Learning for Healthcare (e-lfh)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Date\/Time\/Venue<\/strong> &#8211; This is e-learning and can be undertaken at any time.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cost<\/strong> \u2013 This session is free of charge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Booking Process\/Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This module can be accessed here: <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/portal.e-lfh.org.uk\/LearningContent\/Launch\/411281\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">introductory e-learning session on antimicrobial resistance<\/a><\/strong><\/span>.
