This is a 3-step pathway that will allow GPs to develop their educational skills to their preferred level.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a03 steps of the GP Trainer journey are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Step 1<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Foundation Supervisor<\/li>\n<li><b>Step 2<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 GPST Clinical Supervisor<\/li>\n<li><b>Step 3\u00a0<\/b>\u2013 GPST Educational Supervisor<\/li>\n<li>Please select\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nwpgmd.nhs.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/CS%20ES%20course%20FAQ%202022%20practice_0.docx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 for frequently asked questions in relation to these courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Calibri, sans-serif\">The GP Trainer Journey document also includes information about other courses you may be interested in, including the Wider Workforce Clinical Supervisor Course facilitated by the Training Hubs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Please see here &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.stockportpracticehub.co.uk\/practicehub\/assets\/sites\/3\/2020\/07\/NW-Trainer-Journey_1.pdf\">NW Trainer Journey_1<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0 for an overview of the current GP Trainer Journey, along with information regarding upcoming course dates, course objectives and eligibility criteria.<\/p>\n<p>We will be running all courses on an ongoing basis and will advertise further dates accordingly. The Fellowship program is aimed at welcoming GPs into general practice and their primary care network. It gives Fellows 1 hour per month mentorship (which is where you come in) and the opportunity for learning and development via podcasts and masterclasses, additional coaching, and portfolio development opportunities all designed to support their transition from a GPST to a GP.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re looking for GPs in salaried or partner positions who are working a minimum of 3 clinical sessions a week and can do an additional 1 session a week of mentorship to become Mentors.
